Arrow were in Vancouver yesterday filming reshoots for episode seven of the CW TV Show.

Stephen Amell arrived on set around 12.30pm just before a downpour of rain caused the filming to be halted for a brief moment. As soon as the rain stopped, Stephen took off his Arrow jacket and put on Oliver Queen’s jacket to run down an alley way.

Some people were caught off guard by this shower and looked like drowned rats afterwards. People who live in Vancouver should know about rain by now, lol.

The scene starts off with Oliver running out of the breezeway behind the Queen Consolidated building chasing after a motorcycle and then chasing after the motorcycle by taking a shortcut down a nearby alley.

Stephen really went for it with the running across the street and was visibly out of breath when the take was done. A friend of mine commented to Stephen that he should have worn his Nike’s and he agreed. Fair play to Stephen, he did this scene over and over again and each time it was with the same enthusiasm.

I had a great spot on the sidewalk outside of Frenchies Diner from where I could see all the action going on and as an added bonus there was some good music playing too, not to mention the cover from the rain showers.

Later on in the evening, Stephen Amell was on set dressed as Arrow. He gets seen by a kid (played by Eli Shapera) getting changed in to his costume. Queen asks him something along the lines of “Isn’t it past your bedtime?”

They were also shooting a scene for episode eight on Columbia St. which involved Stephen Amell and Australian actress Jessica De Gouw who plays Helena.

Arrow airs Wednesday nights at 8 pm on The CW in the US and CTV in Canada.
