Delete were downtown Vancouver filming yesterday.
Arriving there just before 12pm the crew had obviously been there for quite some time setting things up. There were police officers and crew members dotted around a 2 block area for this filming.
Don’t know what Delete is? Well, here’s what it says over on IMDb about the show.
Delete imagines a disaster in our all-too-fragile digital world where the web becomes dangerously self-aware with one systematic purpose, to destroy mankind. Faced with possible extinction, there is only one way out – create a second artificial intelligence, just as alive, just as intelligent and just as dangerous.
As I was walking down West Pender Street, I was lucky enough to see Erin Karpluk and Keir Gilchrist getting out of a car. I wasn’t quick enough to get a picture of them then, but I did manage to capture them later on in the day when they were filming a scene inside Blenz coffee on the corner of Burrard St and West Pender Street.
The car scenes were pretty exciting to watch and there was a lot of tires screeching as the cars went around the corners and avoided one another. Interestingly, all the cars had Pennsylvania plates on them, and they were scattered around a wide area.
