Freddy Kruger himself, Robert Englund was at Fan Expo Vancouver last night to kick of the Q&A sessions for the night. And he didn’t disappoint.
Having watched the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies, I was extremely excited to learn that Robert would be attending the 2014 Expo. He talked about what his phobias were; he used to have a fear of snakes. But, whilst working on a movie, the production gave him a baby boa that he kept under his armpit and that got rid of the phobia.
He spent a lot of time talking about character actors and who he’s like to have conversations with. Interestingly, he’d love to hear Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall and Robert De Niro talk about the time the three of them spent in New York as room mates whilst struggling young actors.
