Fringe were filming at Athletes Way in Vancouver today (September 28th) .

Olivia (Anna Torv), Astrid (Jasika Nicole) Walter (John Noble) and Nina Sharp (Blair Brown) were all on set on a not so great day.

The scene they were filming didn’t involve Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) and I’m wondering where he has got to. Olivia, Walter and Astrid were waiting for Nina Sharp to arrive on her mobility scooter. Olivia goes up to her and gives her a big hug before talking to her.

It was a wet day in Vancouver but the cast seemed to be in good spirits. John Noble even came over and talked to some fans of the show who had come from Brazil.

One fan asked John how it felt to be pulled out of the amber and his reply was:
“Much better than being stuck in it.”

It’s a shame that this is the final season of Fringe. As we only started watching it after seeing them film scenes for the show for season 4. We’ve been busy catching up ever since. I am glad that they got this fifth, albeit half season, so that things can be tied up nicely.

Hopefully we’ll see some sort of Fringe comic or movie, a la X Files… we can but dream.
