Last year, Once Upon a Time spent a day filming scenes around a hole that they had dug on a private plot of land just off of Bayview Street.

Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Lee Arenberg, Meghan Ory, Beverley Elliott and some other Dwarfs were all at the location for pretty much the first half of the day before moving into the Cannery to film some scenes.

But, there was another character there who I have kept out of the pictures until now. I have seen that some fans have posted pictures of the character already, so it’s not too much of a spoiler, but just in case:

I turned up at around 9.30am on the morning of December 10, 2012 to see Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and Lee Arenberg filming their scenes. There was a big green screen there too, so knew some CGI elements were involved.

So who were they pulling from the hole?

Anton! Josh Dallas kept shouting “Hang on Anton! We’re going to get you out!” in take after take.

Who is Anton I hear you ask. Anton in none other than Jorge Garcia. He played the giant in the episode Tallahassee when Emma and Hook went up the beanstalk to retrieve a magic compass that could bring them back to Storybrooke.
