2014 has brought many firsts to the LEO Awards and the LEO Awards People’s Choice Program is another! As a public outreach initiative, the LEO Awards People’s Choice Program asks the citizens of BC to vote for their favourite shot-in-BC movie and TV show, highlighting the local and international productions that have had a starring role in BC, whether in front or behind the camera.
As I promised yesterday, here are the videos of Stephen Amell’s panel at Fan Expo Vancouver 2014.
Stephen fielded many varied questions from young and old in what was a very entertaining 45 minute Question and Answer panel.
Stephen Amell was, as always, the perfect gentleman at his Fan Expo Vancouver panel. Funny and charming but polite at all times.
This is the Stephen Amell many of us know having met him more than a handful of times on the set of The CW’s hot show, Arrow.
As I mentioned yesterday, Billy Boyd from Lord of the Rings fame and of course Space Milkshake, treated the crowd at Fan Expo Vancouver to a song.
Billy was put on the spot once when a fan asked him to sing Britney Spears’ Hit me baby one more time, as he had done on the Ellen show, but he declined.
At 2013’s Fan Expo Vancouver we got Samwise Gamgee, who was super entertaining and lots of fun. But this year it was the turn of Peregrin Took, or Pippin as many of us know him.
Obviously, I mean that the actor Billy Boyd was at the Vancouver Fan Expo and for me, it was the highlight of the weekend so far.
Ray Park is much less scary as himself rather than his most famous alter ego, Darth Maul.
After some confusion that led to the Q&A session being 15 minutes late getting started, Ray launched into an energetic session of answering fans’ question.
Freddy Kruger himself, Robert Englund was at Fan Expo Vancouver last night to kick of the Q&A sessions for the night. And he didn’t disappoint.
Having watched the original Nightmare on Elm Street movies, I was extremely excited to learn that Robert would be attending the 2014 Expo.
FAN EXPO Vancouver™ brings out the inner child in all of us. So come out and play over the long weekend and celebrate with Easter-related activities for the whole family on Sunday, the closing day of the three-day pop culture extravaganza.
You might be aware that we are HUGE fans of the TV Show Continuum. You might also be aware that we’ve started a new podcast about the show too.
Each week, we’ll be discussing that night’s episode and hopefully having some special guests along the way.
Vancouver, BC (March 19, 2014) – FAN EXPO Vancouver™ will mark its third year by delivering a fan-tastic Easter Break escape for geeks and superheroes of all ages. The celebration of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming returns April 18-20, 2014 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
